History of Seneca Insurance and Full Service Notary
Dan Estadt established Seneca Insurance and Full Service Notary in 1999. Many will remember that Dan’s agency was originally located in the old Cranberry High School building, before its relocation to the existing facility. A believer in community involvement, Dan was a member of numerous business and industry organizations. Dan’s business philosophy can be well summarized with the following quote: “We believe that the strength of any business starts with client relationships. Our staff takes the time to answer questions, discuss new products, and assess the changing needs of our clients.”
With Dan’s unexpected death in 2014, Dan’s family, in hopes of continuing his legacy, needed to find the best option to keep the business moving forward. They reached out to Rossbacher Insurance Service. From the ownership transition letter sent to customers in May of 2014, Dan’s mother Marian Estadt said, “Our goal was to find successors who would conduct business in a similar fashion as Danny did, including providing excellent service to customers and meaningful employment to his work team. We thought it would also be ideal if the successor-run agency could contribute to any extent towards fulfilling Danny’s legacy, given his years of hard work.”
The formal purchase of Seneca Insurance was finalized by Rossbacher on May 1, 2014, followed later by Seneca Full Service Notary on August 16, 2014. In 2013, Rossbacher had purchased the neighboring Urban Insurance Agency. To take advantage of synergies and better serve their customers, the Urban and Seneca agencies were combined under one roof in June of 2014.
Rossbacher is very proud of the heritage of its partner agencies.
