We help our commercial customers with a variety of insurance servicing needs:
- Customers’ businesses change over time and so should their insurance protection. We work with our customers when they have changes such as a new driver or new vehicle that will need to be added to the policy. We identify and explain coverage options so our customers can protect themselves by making more informed decisions.
- When claims occur, the last thing our customers want is uncertainty or confusion about what to do next. We help our customers connect to the proper claims handlers with our carriers to optimize their claims-handling experience.
- Many customers need to provide certificates of insurance, or proof of coverage, to their customers and others. We produce and transmit certificates at the request of our customers so that their business operations run smoothly.
- When customers have questions regarding billing and payment, we are quick to help, coordinating with the carriers as necessary.
- Certain commercial policies are auditable by the carriers. We help coordinate the audits and help resolve any audit disputes for our customers.
- We help coordinate the renewal process to ensure a smooth transition from year to year. We prepare and issue multi-policy renewal summaries so our customers better understand their coverages in an easy-to-understand format.
Customer Service, Notary
For the convenience of our customers, our Notary team provides a wide variety of traditional Notary services. We can also help with many transactions for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, and Fish and Boat Commission. We are a licensed agent of the state, and use state-provided online software to conduct the transactions directly on the state systems. We greatly reduce waiting time as compared to traditional mailing methods. In most every situation, our customers can walk away with the state-related product they are seeking.
PA Department of Transportation (Penn Dot) transactions include:
- Apportioned registrations
- Drivers license – camera cards, restorations, and change of address
- Vehicle registrations, renewals, and suspension restorations
- Vehicle transfers for passenger vehicles, trucks, trailers, motorcycles, motorhomes, in-transit vehicles, and school buses

Life Insurance Counseling
How we help our customers with Life Insurance:
- Life insurance needs analysis – we help our customers determine the appropriate amount of life insurance to have in place based on their individual circumstances such as indebtedness, income replacement, family educational needs, and final expense considerations.
- Product considerations – is the need for insurance permanent or temporary or a combination of the two? Life insurance products have many variations, and we help our customers make sense of the options.
- Financial planning considerations – is borrowable cash accumulation within a life insurance product an objective or is maximizing death benefit of utmost importance? We illustrate various options to help our customers visualize the results.
- Business planning – we help our customers understand how life insurance can contribute to business perpetuation planning.
Commercial Lines Account Management
We develop and maintain close working relationships with our commercial customers and strive to be a trusted advisor:
- For each prospective commercial customer, we perform a thorough analysis of operational risk and identify appropriate insurance solutions. We then work with our commercial processing team and our insurance carriers to provide quotes, including optional coverages so our customers can protect themselves by making more informed decisions. Once coverage details are finalized, we issue a user-friendly summary of insurance coverage.
- Throughout the policy year, we work with our customers to identify any new risks. Insurance protection is one way to mitigate risks, but we also have risk management specialists, experts at minimizing exposures, that we can deploy as our customers’ needs dictate.
- When claims occur, the last thing our customers want is uncertainty or confusion about what to do next. We help our customers connect to the proper claims handlers with our carriers to optimize their claims-handling experience. We intervene on our customer’s behalf if they are unsatisfied with how a claim is being adjusted.
- Certain commercial policies are auditable by the carriers. We help coordinate the audits and help resolve any audit disputes for our customers.
- We help coordinate the renewal process to ensure a smooth transition from year to year. The annual renewal process is a great time for a thorough, face-to-face review with our customers of existing and optional insurance coverage.
Personal Lines Service
We help our personal lines customers with a variety of insurance servicing needs:
- Customers’ households change over time and so should their insurance protection. We work with our customers when they have a new driver, or are purchasing a new vehicle or home that will cause a change to their policy. We identify and explain coverage options so our customers can protect themselves by making more informed decisions.
- Many customers need to provide proof of insurance through ID cards and binders to their financial institutions and others. We produce and transmit the corresponding documentation at the request of our customers so their needs can be met.
- When customers have questions regarding billing and payment, we are quick to help, coordinating with the carriers as necessary.
- There will come a time when a claim needs to be turned in under a customer’s policy. We, as agents, help our customers report the claim so the claims handling process goes as smoothly as possible. We intervene on our customer’s behalf if they are unsatisfied with how a claim is being adjusted.
- We offer recurring protection reviews, usually conducted on annual basis, in which we work with our customers to review current protection and options that are available. We prepare a user-friendly personal review summary that helps our customers better understand their coverages.
